Our short-term health coverage is designed for employers who want to offer their employees medical coverage for their business trips abroad.

This report covers medical care as stated in the general conditions.

With health insurance coverage, employees are covered in the event of a medical emergency while on business trips around the world.

Employees are covered when they are:

• outside their country of main residence, the country where they live more than six months of the year 
• outside the country where they are employed, the country in which they pay their taxes and social contributions

Employees are covered for one or more trips, up to:

• 90 days of travel per year of insurance
• 300 days of travel per year of insurance

La couverture santé à court terme est uniquement fournie en cas d'urgence médicale. Par urgence médicale, nous entendons un accident, une catastrophe, le début soudain ou l'aggravation d'une maladie grave engendrant un état médical qui présente une menace immédiate pour la santé et qui exige des mesures médicales urgentes. Seul un traitement médical administré par un médecin généraliste/spécialiste, ou une hospitalisation commençant dans les 24 heures suivant l'événement d'urgence, seront pris en charge.
